Welcome to a much overdue newsletter 🙂 We are excited to finally bring you all some news! It’s been a still summer here at the property, waiting for events to start and have a concrete calendar to set us on our way for 2023. (Not that we did not welcome the calm!)
With a new team of horses, (we had forgotten all the fun and games that comes with the young ones!) We have added some new faces- A lovely grey ‘Cat Fish’ such a cool dude, a very spritely bay ‘Carruso’ and an experienced 1* horse from NZ ‘PHS Hilton’ beautifully brought on by Greer Caddigan (thank you).
The season started with a fun outing to Wallaby Hill, always a great day and much appreciated Alex, Derek, and the team. We took ‘Viennese’ and ‘Cat Fish’ (Cat or Fishy as Gemma likes to call him!) Certainly, ‘Vinnie’ is just looking so strong, we can’t wait to see his year in 3/4 * this year. ‘Cat’ on the other hand was a bit shell shocked! A few steering issues, some over expressive jumps, but handled himself like a true gentleman. We are also very thankful to the OC of Equestriad/Camden for closing off all the paper work in time for their first Hunter Trails of the season, with 95% of their jumps lost in the 2022 floods it was a pretty extraordinary mission to get this off the ground, good job guys!
We had our newest additions ‘Carruso’ and ‘PHS Hilton’ join us this time.. alongside ‘Vinnie’ and ‘Cat’, almost a full truck again 🙂
Air time was the theme for all of our horses, the youngsters making themselves very noticeable in all their efforts!!! Outside, getting to and in the ring!

Now that we have a team of different levels, we have a variety of events coming up. ‘Vinnie’ will be heading into 3* with Stuart, ‘Hilton’ 1* and shortly 2* with Gemma. ‘Carruso’ will head to 1* with Stuart and ‘Cat’ the baby classes!
We are looking forward to seeing you all out at events again, it has been a long time between drinks!
