July, has been a mixture of events in the UK for Gemma with a trip to Aston-le-walls and a fairly long drive to Burgham in Northumberland. (We had support crew at Aston! Love the effort Stuart and Terry-Ann)

Firstly, Hilton has settled in very well with Sammi BIRCH Equestrian, a great yard plus environment to be in, Sammi is very happy to have fellow Aussie’s and mentor them, a blessing when you are so far from home (aka Gemma Tinney!!) WhatsApp has been hot with questions; however, Gemma is standing on her own remarkably well! (proud mum and dad) Getting the experience in the UK is one of the foundations, plus building blocks for our next generation Eventing hopeful champions- We are very grateful to Tim Game (part owner of PHS Hilton) plus our sponsors, CopRice, Bates Saddles, Horseland and Ceva for their continued support for Tinney Eventing plus seeing the vision of future riders of our sport. It still is very tough to strive for excellence and pursue your dreams in Eventing, we are filled with gratitude and so appreciative. Thank you 😊

Gemma has picked up racing work at Ben Pauling Racing (National Hunt horses) plus working at Sammi’s, great exposure and experience. Guessing this pays for the bills!!

STUART holds the fort in Australia, attends opening of HORSELAND Gold Coast

Stuart has been ‘home alone’ and by all accounts doing a fine job! With the Olympics in full swing, first equestrian event up Chris Burton winning an individual Silver, what a ride!!! Poetry to watch him on the incredible ‘Shadow Man’. Fabulous result.

Channel 9 were straight out to interview previous Olympian medal winners, plus an amazing interview and grab for the FEI. A busy month globally for us! Stuart flew to the GOLD COAST to welcome the opening of Horseland GOLD COAST new store, looking very schmick and stylish. Horseland have been our long-term sponsors, we have had the pleasure of watching them grow into the national leader in equine supplies, it is always a pleasure to give back 🙂

Lastly CONGRATULATIONS to all the Australian Equestrians at their performances in PARIS

It certainly is no mean feat getting to a Games, we understand the dedication, focus, hard work plus stress involved for all team members, including ground staff. You are just phenomenal humans! PLUS of course our amazing horses. Without you we would have little purpose 🙂 We love you!

Cheers TE
